چکیده
Synthetic organic dyes were extensively used by artists in the first half of 20th century, knowingly or otherwise. This included Andy Warhol and his À la Recherche du Shoe Perdu (c. 1955), a major portfolio hand-colored prints, copy which resides collection The Museum Modern Art (MoMA). friends known to use Dr. Ph. Martin’s Synchromatic Transparent Water Colors bring these prints life. A historical set Watercolors initially investigated UV-visible spectroscopy, samples from historic also characterized µ-Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy for fingerprint identification. To better elucidate nature mixtures present, thin-layer chromatography was coupled with surface-enhanced Raman separate components all colorants set. decisively identified include Acid Red 73, 87, 17, 103, Basic 1, Orange 7, Yellow 23, Green 4, Blue 3, 93, Violet 10, Black 2. Overall, along 7 2, found greatest number Data subsequently direct comparison reflectance spectra using principal component analysis. Microfade testing on brochure conducted identify fugitive colorants, results extrapolated each portfolio. analysis provided further insight into confirmed extreme light sensitivity some fastness others.

À la Recherche du Temps Perdu: extracting temporal relations from medical text in the 2012 i2b2 NLP challenge
OBJECTIVE An analysis of the timing of events is critical for a deeper understanding of the course of events within a patient record. The 2012 i2b2 NLP challenge focused on the extraction of temporal relationships between concepts within textual hospital discharge summaries. MATERIALS AND METHODS The team from the National Research Council Canada (NRC) submitted three system runs to the secon...

i Preface This study presents a theory and model of memory and remembrance, which is a further explication of the theory of Dynamic Conceptual Semantics and of the Unconscious and Conscious, which has been developed in Bartsch 1998 Dynamic Conceptual Semantic: A Logic-Philosophical Investigation into Concept Formation and Understanding and in it is pointed out how phenomenological data and dyna...
متن کاملOn The Logic of Secrecy in À la recherche du temps perdu
n this article, the author links what he terms ‘logic of secrecy’ to Proust’s best known and celebrated work, À la recherche du temps perdu. The article explores the way in which the ‘holder’ and the ‘addressee’ of a secret can relate one to the other despite a fundamental state of separation and finds that the Recherche contains a great variety of examples in which different kinds of secrets a...
متن کاملSpeedup, Communication Complexity, and Blocking - A La Recherche du Temps Perdu
The paper investigates the time lost in a parallel computation due to sequential and duplicated work, communication and control, and blocking. It introduces the concept of relative speedup and proposes characterizations of parallel algorithms based upon the communication complexity and the blocking model. The paper discusses the impact of the processor's architecture upon the measured speedup. ...
متن کاملDe la recherche sociale d'information à la recherche collaborative d'information
In this paper, we explain social information retrieval (SIR) and collaborative information retrieval (CIR). We see SIR as a way of knowing who to collaborate with in resolving an information problem while CIR entails the process of mutual understanding and solving of an information problem among collaborators. We are interested in the transition from SIR to CIR hence we developed a communicatio...
